Geometric Rugs
Rugs with geometric shapes are quite prominent in modern or retro home decor. The trendy shapes, colours and designs add an impact to any room.
Hand-knotted and Hand-loomed
Hand-knotted rugs take up to a year to make, where they are made all by hand. This generally makes hand-knotted rugs more expensive due to the hours gone into making it. Whereas hand-loomed rugs are made using a mechanised tool, where it takes about two to three days to complete a rug.

One Size Doesn't Fit All

Choosing the size of the rug is sometimes just as hard as picking the rug. Selecting the size can be based on the furniture that's going to size on it; i.e. a dinning table. You would want to have a rug that fills the space of the dining table and chairs. A large light coloured rug generally makes the room feel larger; whereas a darker rug will make a room feel smaller and cosy. To find a size for your room, grab a bed sheet and fold it to a size that suits.   To see our range of different rugs, visit our website in the link below.  https://www.scattermats.com.au/
