General Shipping Info
We offer Free Shipping* Australia Wide* for Online Orders over $100.
For Orders under $100 a flat fee of $15 applies.
We endeavour to dispatch your items and forward tracking details as quickly as possible, generally within 24 hours of receipt of payment. We employ several courier companies for the majority of our deliveries within Australia, including Australia Post. We may also use various other couriers as we are constantly sourcing cheaper ways to send our products.
Our delivery time for Australian destinations is usually between 2 and 10 working days, depending exactly where the destination is and what your requirements are. We are, of course, reliant on the courier service delivering on time as stated. If you have not received your order by the expected time, please check with the courier service for unexpected delays by using the tracking number provided to you before contacting us.
Free Shipping* - This Asterix (*) after the wording of Free Shipping denotes that orders above the amount of $100 are entitled to free shipping, but are subject to conditions mentioned below.
Free shipping* Australia Wide* or the $15 set fee may sometimes be insufficient to cover the Scattermats standard shipping allowance. This can be due to, but not limited to, the courier companies' costs of delivery to regional, remote or un-frequented areas or locations, as well as for extra-large items or excessive weight costs. Scattermats will notify the customer by email or phone if any extra charges apply. The customer then may elect to cancel the order and receive a full refund of any monies already paid.
We do not ship to multiple addresses as quotes are for a single destination only.
Incorrect shipping details supplied by the customer that cause the item to be classed as un-deliverable, will incur a re-dispatch fee. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.
Any persons at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by Scattermats Rug Warehouse to be authorised to receive the goods. If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive the goods, Scattermats Rug Warehouse may charge you additional delivery fees.
Once the goods are delivered to your specified delivery address, you will own them, and it is your responsibility if they are lost or damaged. Please ensure that you inspect the packaging of goods for damage before signing the delivery docket. If damaged, please state that on the couriers copy of the delivery docket and notify us immediately.
Also, please be advised that if the driver has to return to deliver your items as no-one was home to receive delivery, extra charges may apply. You may opt to leave special instructions for delivery instead. However if this option is taken, then there is no insurance coverage by Scattermats or any used couriers.
Note; We email you a tracking number to assist you in working out the approximate day it will arrive.
